took me almost a month to read this book after I read A Little Life. Suggested from a friend of mine and I wasnt happy with it(kinda)

I got wrecked, again. Didnt cry but boy, I wanna hug Cyril so bad

I absolutely loved this!! What a long life we are all burdened with the possibility of living. The weaving of humor and sadness and so many locations, a real treat. I particularly liked the dialogue

I wasn't enjoying the epilogue so much, but then had to stop reading and get off the train. When I picked it back up the next morning my heart had softened and I really liked it.

Everyone in this book is extremely insufferable.

I enjoyed the beginning of the book, before it devolved into some kind of soap opera.

I'm begging Avril Cyril to have a single, interesting thought about something other than being gay or sex.
