I did still enjoy this portion of the series, but not as much as the first book. I am still very excited to see where the series goes, but it does suffer a bit from "second book syndrome". The ending was unexpected, and I was definitely shaken because I was not expecting such a twist! It made me more excited to see what happens in book three.

I really enjoyed this book but I did find some aspects of the ending predictable although I still really enjoyed their execution
