My friend and I read this together as a joke and, boy, was it certainly a joke. The writing is so repetitive that I thought I accidentally pressed the back button on my kindle more than once. The author’s inconsistent and immature writing made me cringe with every page turn. For example, the constant back and forth between Medieval and Modern vernacular was awkward and, frankly, obnoxious. Even worse were the brazen statements made multiple times per page that reminded us the characters were a green ogre and a princess (because who could remember that with such a simplistic plot?). In sum, how I actually finished this and lived with more than one brain cell left to tell the tale is beyond me. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

This had such promise but not for me. Seemed semi juvenile.

Ogre Daddy (Fantastical Daddy Doms #2) by Allysa Hart, Rayanna Jamison – So I came across a short story in this world that made very little sense, so I decided to read the series it belongs to. And now it makes a lot more sense, but this was some crazy world building! It’s like Little Mermaid meets Shrek with Rapunzel vibes in an urban fantasy world. Very funky! Happy Reading!
