It's a really fun book. There's not much sense in it, but it's fun all the same.

started reading this bc i was looking for whimsy and nostalgia. i found both but it’s crazy how little i retained of the story for the last approximately 15 years, i only remembered the premise and characters being cool

8.30.22 finished rereading one of my childhood favorites. It's a lovely feeling to recognize everything you loved about it as a child and still feel like it holds so much truth and value as an adult - perhaps even more so.

The next two are better! Del Roy is one of the best audiobook readers I've ever heard and that made this book much easier for me to listen to.

A fun children's story, but I felt it stretched on a bit too long. The characters were likeable, but not really to a point where you love them and want more and more. The puzzles were fun and creative and the highlight of the book for me. I do like it when kids are able to outsmart adults in a believable way. I'll probably read the next book, but I'm going to give it a while.

Didn't love *everything* about this book, but pretty damn near. Excited to read the rest of the series. Constance and Kate are MY girlies.
