This book helped me fall back in love with reading. I absolutely adore Raven and love seeing bits of her in the other books. Every book by Cat is just absolutely amazing it’s hard to pick a favorite but this is definitely one of mine. Love raven and sierras friendship. Love Ravens passion and love for design. Just an amazing book.

you know those bad soap operas that your mother watched when you were little that she forced you to watch with her and in the end despite all the annoying characters and the meaningless plot you still ended up addicted to them? here this book is practically a bad soap opera that you can't help but watch

lol this is such a painfully stupid book. I guess these kinds of billionaire romances just aren’t for me - the contemporary setting but plot that isn’t relatable in any way is not it. Raven is whiny, Ares is annoying, and all other characters have no depth at all; they’re basically just NPCs waiting around for Ares or Raven to talk to them. Won’t be reading any more of the series

Okay so this book feels like a missed opportunity for the author..
It had potential.. So much potential.. But it wasn't well written at all
The characters lacked depth and stability..
Like each character changed in every situation..
The authority failed to convey the characters attributes and also failed to keep them true to them
For ex - marriage and loyalty means a lott to Ares and still he didn't give a fuck abt Hannah cheating on him... That's like conflicting traits
Raven was supposed to be this shy, sweet girl but she acted differently.. Like why call her shy then..?
Also the plot has soooooo mannyyu loopholes.
And I thought that this is 1st book of the series and often authors find their rhythm later on but I found out that this isn't her 1st big novel... She has done a lot of work.. Which tell me her writing style isn't for me.
I thought the book lacked the ability to grasp and keep me hooked.
This could have been a great book but it just missed it.
