A very different read that reminds me a lot of If on a Winter's Night a Traveler by Italo Calvino because of its structure; each chapter and story are related to the previously one. This is not just some random short stories, they are actually linked together in a great puzzle that is the message and theme which I also found to be very interesting.

That said I have not studied German for four years, and even though my understanding of grammar is all right, this was just a struggle that reminded me of the terrifying teacher I had four years ago. To be reminded of that just made this read a whole lot less exciting to read even though the structure was quite fascinating.
