Plenty of action kept things moving, but sometimes it felt like a mashup of random pieces just to tie into other King stories. The ending didn’t quite land for me, but the ride getting there was still worth it.

A satisfying ending to this 5k-page epic. For the last few books I wasn't sure if I liked King's self-aggrandizing meta twist, but grew to appreciate it. The series is a good, long vacation read for those who like page-turner fantasies with generally likable characters, awful dialogue, and the frequent misuse of "which" for "that." So, not worth reading unless you simply need mindless fodder, but if you do, it's a fun ride.

Não sei muito bem como me sentir em relação a este livro.
Por um lado sinto que foi anticlimático. Muitas das linhas narrativas são arrumadas meio que a despachar e sente-se muito a mão do autor. Por outro houve momentos do génio de King.

O worldbuilding continua fascinante. Os momentos de ação muito bem escritos. As personagens continuam maravilhosas e com passagens que deixam mesmo lágrimas no olho.
No entanto, parece que o próprio autor reconhece que despachou para o final especialmente com 2 plots que foram montando o livro todo sem chegar a lado nenhum. Principalmente porque tem sido desenvolvidos há 2-3 livros e que resolvem sem mais nem menos.

Quanto ao final-final, até gostei do quão corajoso o King foi com o twist que acho que ninguém esperava.
