Such a cute high school romance. Grumpy/sunshine with fake dating. Wonderful chemistry/banter. This was a book I didn't know I needed to read <3

Lottie, the sunshine librarian assistant, has always crushed her grumpy (and popular and athletic) neighbor Bo. Never been kissed is no longer a something she can say after Bo comes to rescue and kisses her. The kisses is caught on camera and goes viral overnight. To help Bo fend off unwanted attention, Lottie agrees to fake date him after she accidentally hits him with a book. But when feelings get real, can they keep up the charade?

O'Gorman presents characters very well. The stereotypes all have their flaws but show growth in her novels. There are also cute moments. I like her books but I don't like some tropes like this one: grumpy/sunshine. For me, nearly half of the book was slow and pointless because of the narrator's personality. However, it was O'Gorman so I stuck with it and the characters grew in me. I like the other lovers who showed up as well. I liked all the bookish references as a bookworm myself. I laughed a lot. It was lovely, fun, light entertainment. Good!
