The potential was there but the last few chapters felt forced. And it ended too quickly. In the end it just felt rushed and a bit forced. There were some laugh out loud scenes and I could see where the author was going... I just wish she delivered.

This was a ridiculously entertaining book. I'm really impressed with the author's cleverness in creating silly, but interesting scenarios. The title is terrible, and the ending is hokey, but I'm giving this a solid 4 stars for being so enchanting and fun.

This story would probably qualify as a time-travel romp. The Highlander of the title is brought into the future and gets himself into all sorts of scrapes. Some of the resolutions were less than satisfying because they were rushed through with little explanation. However, the story did give me that "fish out of water" tone that I prefer in time-travel stories and kept me reading to the end.
