3.5 or 3.75 is my actual rating but rounding it up here.

Okay, so I was a little hesitant to pick this up, and although I dont think this did anything super unique, I WAS INVESTED! The whole time. I was listening to this while doing some other tasks and the whole time I was in the book. I didn't need to stop and I wasnt waiting for it to be over. No, I was just enjoying my time trying to figure out what was going on.

So many twists and turns with every chapter. As soon as you think you know who did it, another suspect/angle gets thrown at you. I love the Social Media chapters, making you feel closer to Desiree.

I really wanted to like this. I got it for my BOTM. I found it incredibly boring, I felt like there were a lot of loose ends, me going ‘whaaaat?’ Not because of shock or excitement, but because I was like wait who is this person? What’s going on? I’m basically still reading this, and have 30 pages left. I’ve been on this book for about a month and just have no interest in finishing. I probably will because I’m so close. The similes and analogies were cheesy and too much. Shitnuts needs to go too. Also, we knew nothing about Desiree except that she was a spoiled rich girl. How on earth are we supposed to relate to her, or feel bad for her in Lena’s search for answers. 1/5 stars for me.
