Religious trauma horror is a great angle on the horror genre. The beginning was really good.  It was eerie and almost suffocating, in a way that will feel very familiar to those who have been made to feel small and wrong in an oppressive religious up bringing.
Unfortunately, the middle dragged a bit, and I found myself wanting more from the ending.
