Loved the breaking of the 4th wall by the author and artist, not just the characters. Great explain of relationships and sex positivity. Chip's background sight gags are a 10/10!

An ace character in a comic about sex, who would'a thought? It was great. I love how this book has lightheartedness and humor and yet tackles big relationship and mental health issues full on. Really well done.

Loved Book 1, but a lot of Book 2 feels like they weren't sure what direction to take the story next, and so they overuse breaking the fourth wall (which I typically enjoy!) to comment on the story instead of advancing the plot in a meaningful way. I also feel like Suzie's character development has started to take a backseat to John's story (which feels like it might be a function of the story being written by two dudes?), and she hasn't gotten nearly as much focus or had as much to do. At this point, I'm hoping that John and Suzie have an amicable breakup at the end of the series, because it's frustrating to see yet another fully-formed female lead paired with a "fixer-upper" boyfriend who still needs to do a lot of work on himself in order to be a capable partner.
Still a fun read overall, though.
(disclaimer: I DID read this on a "bad ADHD" day, so it's possible that on re-read I'll feel completely different)

First 6 issues of this volume were pretty solid, but last 4 were a bit confusing, disjointed and I really lost interest in the series to the point where I won't be picking up volume 3. It's worth a read, but IMO - it's a borrow, not buy book/series. In fact, I'm going to be unloading my 2 volumes as I don't really see ever re-reading them.
