OH MY GODS> CAN WE JUST. I ACTUALLY AM SWOONING. This book was by far the cutest thing I have read in a while and it was sooooo worth it. After reading the Heatbreakers last year and not being able to put it down I couldn't wait for Alec's story ESPECIALLY because Alec was by far my favorite! And his book did not dissapoint me. I loved Felicity also! The way she and Alec bonded just gave me so many fangirl moments. I can TOTALLY relate to Asha lol. I can't wait to read Xander and JJ's love stories!

I had heard a lot of people say that this book wasn’t as good as The Heartbreakers but to me I really enjoyed this one. I liked the story, the characters, and I really liked Alec and Felicity’s relationship. Overall this was a fun and cute read.

So, this was exactly as expected in many ways. An everyday young girl, who has some insane talent that she’s rather reluctant to share, meets a mystery boy who just happens to be a member of one of the most popular bands around.
This time round our focus is Alec. He’s certainly an interesting character, and his relationship with Felicity immediately marks him out as a good guy.
I was rather surprised at the similarity of some of the scenes, but it was a light fun read and offered something of an escapist vibe while also offering some attempt to explore a few more serious ideas.

I know they’re not a real band but Alec is my favorite member of the heartbreakers, I love him so much
Sweet story, it was nice enough to listen to the audiobook but I agree with other reviewers that you don't really feel the romantic connection. Also does anyone else find Asha an absolute brat? Felicity keeps on saying that they are best friends but I don't see any reason why they should be! It could be the narrator put on that voice for Asha, but I found her super annoying and self centered.
"Because you guys belong together." Asha pushed back her bangs, like she was trying to think of the best way to phrase whatever was bothering her. "Felicity, you're so deep in denial that I feel like I'm watching a rom-com. Right now, we're at the part after boy-loses-girl where the female lead refuses to admit how perfect they are for each other. And then there's me, screaming at the TV because she's being so dumb."

Hewo, hewo. If you're looking for a small review, to put it simply, it's a good book. Perfect for a quick read for fans of fanfic or cheesy romance. If you're looking for a longer review, read on.
Many people on Goodreads are saying that this book is a lot better than the first. Many other people are saying that the first is better. Unfortunately (and fortunately) I think the latter. It is unfortunate because I would loved to read a great book, who doesn't. So, when I heard there was a book about Alec. Well...
Anyways, I usually don't read a whole series in a row (unless it's gold or diamonds), so when I do, that series is special. I was planing on reading a different series because I wanted to finish it before I watched the Netflix series to see how badly they messed it up. However, Alec, my sweet child, you have priority.

How do you feel about your name? I'm sorry, but I had to mention this. Who has a name like Felicity? Honestly, I don't really like Felicity. She's always doubting Alec. And Alec is an angel. And (most likely) angels don't lie (not that I'm religious or anything). Alec had never done anything than be nice to her, and she had the audacity to think he was dating Violet. She is also very nosy. Ummm, how many private phone calls or conversations did she listen in on? Let's just say more than I can count on one hand. And that's in a span of 400 pages. She's ruining what would have been an OTP!

This story is as cute as that cover. For any fangirl who dreamed of falling into a romance with the singer/actor/celebrity of their tween fantasies, this is the book for you. I mean, there's more depth to that, but really, it's full of all those feels.
I need to get my hands on the first book in this series soon, because this one was too cute to not read the whole series.
