This was amazing! When I first heard about this book ages ago I knew this would be exactly the kind of thing I would love, and I did! The premise was so interesting and it was executed so incredibly well. Seeing two boys in a boyband fall in love, seeing them handle the pressures of fame and the industry, everything was so well worked out. The struggles and problems all four boys had. The beautiful romance developing all throughout. It was such a glorious cohesive whole that kept me reading.

I actually quite liked how real it was written, though there were some parts i did not enjoy as much.

1: The
whole Angel wanting to jump off the balcony thing. I believe it was quite unnecessary and made it less enjoyable in my opinion. I think there were other ways to build up the tension, and not putting it into extreme
2: The relationships between each member except for Angel and Jon and Ruben and Zach were lackluster in my opinion. We only know little about how Zach and Angel became friends. I wished for more focus on that, as it would have made it more personal to the actual characters instead of their side character part of the story. Same for Ruben and Angel and Jon and Zach.

I would definitely re-read it, and if there will ever be a sequel to it (which i hope for) i will then definitely read it! I want to know where their paths lead them next! Though a sequel is unlikely

This was an amazing, adorable book. I really loved everything about it. The relationships were really sweet and I loved how the boys were like a family. I also loved how it addressed the challenges of fame and how fame that young can hurt people. I really loved the Ruben and Zach plot as well as the progression of Jon, and especially, Angel. I really loved their progression as a group and as a family. I was so enthralled in the book and their story that I was angry with how it ended because I wanted to see more and find out what happened after. Overall, it was a really sweet and brutal book that I loved (and I can definitely make connections, whether or not they’re true…)

I loved the behind-the-scenes look at a boy band. The management, the diets, the lack of freedom… every second of their lives was controlled. Through it all, the guys stayed friends, and we get to know each and every one of them really well through this journey. I also loved the the discussion of PrEP and using condoms for HIV prevention.

It’s so amazing when co-authored books come together so seamlessly. I’m a fan of these guys!

Thank you Netgalley and Wednesday Books for proving me a free audiobook for review.

I won't lie, I almost dnf'd this a couple times about 15% of the way through because it wasn't what I was in the mood for, but I'm so glad I changed my mind because this was such a great book, with a really important storyline. This wasn't just about two members of a boyband falling in love, it was so much more than that. This had a lot of talk about censorship within the media, and how labels can control not only the music you put out, but your lives as well.

This had triggers for homophobia as well as drug and alcohol use and abuse.
