While the beginning and end were well written, the middle seemed to drag on almost as if the authors needed to fill in to make this book 400+ pages. I honestly think this book could have been 100/150 pages less but still be just as good if not better. I’m glad this book acknowledged a lot of what I’m sure goes on in the music scene and the  fear of not being accepted. I do think we didn’t get a fair amount of character development of all the boys of Saturday. Lowkey was confused as to why the only Asian character was the one that turned to drugs / went to rehab. The gay, bi and diverse rep was nice to read about but could have been better in execution.

I laughed, I gasped, I teared up. This was such a cute and fun book that took me right into heart of boyband and celebrity culture, discovering your queer identity and friendships growing with you as you age. Zuben is absolutely my favourite.
