The book may have been the most boring one out of the series and even if you dont think thati think yhat elois3s storyline doesnt line up well with this book and it felt really rushed and dont seem like genuine love for some reason i think that the writer didnt make justice for her chracter

Not the best. My favorite part was the second epilogue. I would definitely read an Amanda book.

I wasn’t entirely sure about Eloise’s love story at the beginning. There were moments where her and Phillip’s interactions were genuinely cute, and others where I was like, “excuse you” to Phillip, lol. It wasn’t always the most romantic, but they did have some sweet, endearing moments that won me over. Their beginnings honestly give off the vibe that, if this story were told in modern day, it would be Eloise sliding into his DMs 😂. Maybe that’s also why I was unsure how I felt about Phillip at times. He seemed so great through their letters, but when Eloise met him in person, she wasn’t sure he was the same man she’d come to know on paper. I remember his POV mentioning that when she first arrived unannounced, he couldn’t make sure he said the “right” thing or edit himself like he could in letters. It almost gave the impression that the Phillip in the letters was a polished version of himself, not quite as authentic as the one in person.

That said, Eloise remains one of my favorite Bridgerton daughters. I just love how chatty, outspoken, and witty she is. Phillip’s kids were also a delight, even when they were being little troublemakers. The fact that they completely met their match in Eloise and ended up truly loving her, and wanting her in their lives as much as their father did, was so heartwarming.

My favorite part had to be the epilogue. I kind of want a whole book about Amanda’s love story now. It was just a small glimpse, but it left me wanting more. Benedict and Sophie are still my #1 favorite Bridgerton couple, and I loved that they (and their kids) appeared in this book. Oh, and the scene where Eloise’s brothers show up after figuring out where she ran off to, threatening Phillip, was top tier. If protective brothers were an Olympic sport, the Bridgertons would take gold.
