“Delectable Soul” by M. Bonnet was a really good dark horror erotica novella that featured a tragically widowed young woman named Fiadh and a demon known as The Hunt, a Sluagh who is determined to possess her soul. I enjoyed this read because even though it was on the shorter side, it was still really well written and didn’t feel rushed at all. I liked that the ending wasn’t the traditional happily ever after, and I’d recommend if you love dark/horror romance and don’t have a lot of triggers.

What an interesting book this was! Sadness leads us to many things, but the victim of THE HUNT, isn't always one of them. One young woman loses the one she loves, but what will she find on the other side? Read and find out.

Fast read for those that love a get to the meat and finish by evening. We see a beloved author mentioned along with a book of hers :) I love when authors go outside the 'box' and give us something new and creative.

This delicious novella is a perfect read to get you in a Halloween mood. I loved the Irish setting, with warnings of the Slaugh at night. Fiadh is so perfectly broken, filled with grief and despair, her finding solace in her Granda's presence is lovely, but its what lurks in the dark which really speaks to me. Loved it

I very much enjoyed reading this quick story it's perfect for the spooky season. I'm not going to give anything away you just need to go in blind that's what I did. I will say it does have a hea just not in the traditional way, but don't let that keep you away grab it and enjoy. It does have triggers so check them before going in.

Delectable Soul
★★★★

This is my first read by M. Bonnet and I’m pleasantly surprised!
Whilst Delectable Soul is one of the shorter novellas, it’s definitely not without its spice and trigger warnings 👏🏼
This book is all in, from the second you open the book you are hit with all the feels, and whilst you know what’s coming it doesn’t make the book any less exciting or intriguing.

How they have managed to include so much in such a short space of time is beyond me but it was executed so well! So well in fact that I want to read more of them!!

Wow just fecking wow!!
I was sucked into this story so quick I couldn’t breath.
I was drowning with Fiadh, hoping with her and fearing just as much but what I wasn’t expecting was to feel the relief when she finally got what she needed. For all her pain, hopelessness and despair to be gone and just be free.
I’ve been a huge M. Bonnet fan from the start and have admired how well she writes these characters that you become one with them.
The Hunt was the dark depraved villian us dark reading girlies crave. While the world sees the FMC as damaged they see her as beautiful and exquisite to save her and feck the world.
This was short but mind blowing… I wish I could read it again for the first time.
PS did ya see my use of the word feck?
