Bias Alert! I wrote one of the stories included in this book, but the other authors really did bring their "A-game" for the first of hopefully many, many more volumes. See inside: a new twist on Hansel and Gretel, gene edits gone disturbingly wrong, ice cold dystopia with a side of revenge, a spoiled kid's party painfully spoiled, a blood-drenched-monarch-stalking demon, mysterious and irresistible mind-altering tree ooze, old-west-style pandemic supply truck robbery, cozy-mystery turned splatter-mayhem, and much more, all illustrated by a mix of public domain art and art by the writers themselves. If you're into dark fiction and horror this is not one you should miss.
