My favourite bit was the analysis of the Lion King as a retelling of the Bhagavad Gita

Good book, but I found far too much overlap with Sapiens & Homo Deus.

Don't @me a soft non-fiction landing was needed, also the bus just beeped at some bleus getting baptised

Very good, not as mind-blowing as his Sapiens.
(Yuval Noah Harari, 21 Lessons for the 21st Century).

This is a beautiful book: scary at times, but without any sense of doom. There is hopefulness and there are solutions. Much food for thought and a good start for anyone who's interested in critical thinking and not just swallowing whatever the media/politicians/gurus have to offer us.

DID NOT FINISH

Too vague and abstract. Not fact checked. Just storytelling. Pure thought leaderesque bullshit.

I read this book for my argument class and it was a solid introduction to many modern phenomena that we face. While I don’t always agree with the mindset Harari had, it was a solid jumping point for entering the conversations of many of these issues and definitely had a common theme throughout the book on liberalism and modernity

Good brain pickings.
