A good story, but the language has not aged well.

One of the best page turners I’ve ever read and I’m not even a huge fan of legal thrillers

I listened to the audiobook for this, as it had been years since I’d seen the movie, and I wanted to revisit it. It took me a minute to get used to some of the derogatory language used throughout the book, but it ultimately gave the book a more authentic feel. John Grisham does a wonderful job of creating a dynamic world to weave his characters and plot through.

Oh how I hate loose ends. The book still gets three stars in spite of this - a good read, even if I didn’t like many of the characters.
