I have been trying to get into this series, but the character is so unlikeable and finally the story was too depressing for my liking.

Fabulous!! Maisie enters the larger world of Special Services and their interest in chemical warfare. She also develops an interest in photography.

I have a soft spot for Maisie so my review might be a bit partial. I enjoy another episode of this wel written and intriguing story. I love the historical setting, the unfolding of the investigation and the stories behind the main subject. I am not disappointed and I will certainly continue to the next chapter

I loved the first in this series and fear I've read the rest too quickly, as I've become a bit bored with the characters and plot progression. I'm interested to see what Sarah thinks of it.

Audiobook: 09hr 20m

The threat of what we would now call bioterrorism would make for a prickling read at any time, but surely the global pandemic and regular lockdowns we are currently experiencing make the cut of this story all the sharper. Chemical warfare chills the blood. Good mystery with supremely high stakes.

I read the book of this, it some how is only listed as an audio on goodreads.

This was a total psychological thriller! It totally could be a movie!

It was a really cool book and had some sad things going on as well, but still so good!

Love the characters, time period and the whole series!
