#1 BEST JJK VOLUME hands down
shinjuku showdown is the best fight and best arc in jjk.
i love all the chapters in this book omg. thanks for giving me what i want, greg. i've been waiting for gojo 🆚 sukuna ever since chapter 2 and it's finally here at long last.
gojo and sukuna are the perfect, best and my favorite rivals/enemies duo because they don't hate one another. they have many similarities, they could've been best friends and more but they just happen to have the worst luck/fate ever and end up on the opposite sides - it's tragic and heartbreaking. this trope is hard to find and i need more of it.
also, this is the highest stakes battle/death match in jjk even though these two most powerful (in jjk universe) weirdos make it seem as if they're having a cute, loveydovey playdate most of the time (their first date on christmas eve, actually. how romantic)
anyway, i'm glad they're going all out in this fight. i love reading their opinions about each other + thought processes and seeing them come up with brand new abilities + reveal that they have certain abilities in their arsenal all along.
what i love most about gojo and sukuna is that they're extremely intelligent and very creative, they don't just rely on their physical strength and fighting skills (aka boring meatheads). i love that they have both brains and brawns, they never fail to impress me.
it's great that gojo and sukuna got all the spotlight to themselves, together, at the same time. they're my top 2 fave characters~ i reallyyyyy enjoy seeing them have fun playing and being cute and shamelessly flirting with each other throughout the whole fight, even though it shocked me at first(damn greg, i can't believe you really did that lmfao i owe you one). i'm happy as long as my bbs are happy lmfao.

happy pride month to gojo and sukuna btw 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈 (some chapters dropped in june)
once again, amazing fight. shoutout to my men gojo and sukuna for meeting and exceeding my expectations 💘 they're literally two of the few godtier characters in media.
i seriously hope vol. 26 gets a rare special duo cover of gojo and sukuna with their upgraded pretty boy ikemen appearances. my two husbands deserve nothing but the best, idgaf. not to mention that this book is essentially a part 2 continuation of vol. 25 - every chapter in here is entirely about their fight after all, they're the main and only focus as they should. and chapter 235 or 236 is probably the last chapter in this volume, judging from the way it's written.
Graphic: Body horror, Death, Gore, Violence, Blood, Murder, Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Sexual content, War
gojo, sukuna, makora, mahoraga

Also for the people who aren't sending out spoiler alerts for Ch.236.. be a little more mindful of people who don't read it the minute it's released

Well, that escalated quickly! #235 indicated Gojo's win from Sukuna, but #236 tells a different story. SO, I'M GOING TO READ IT WHEN I GET HOME TONIGHT. I'm going to update this review because I'm in my wtf moment right now.
I have read all the available materials from Shueisha. Right now, there are 236 chapters, and I haven't seen #236 yet, which was published last night.
Spoiler
But to be honest, though, I don't care anymore if Gojo dies... that will just mean Megumi's body survives... and he might wake up, you know. And we all know Megumi hasn't reached his full potential yet, so there might be a huge climax awaiting us. Then again, he might get depressed though knowing what might happen to Gojo. Idk anymore, I'm rambling on and on.I have read all the available materials from Shueisha. Right now, there are 236 chapters, and I haven't seen #236 yet, which was published last night.
