Quella di Fleur Jaeggy è una scrittura decadente, ritmica, come se scrivesse, con tanto di svolazzi, su una fredda lapide. Una storia nichilista che in meno di cento pagine avvinghia la tua caviglia come una mano che fuoriesce da un camposanto.

Maybe I’m just not smart enough for this book but I really couldn’t follow. It’s like the author took out every 3rd sentence and then stuck it back in a random spot throughout the whole book. Not much happened.

i’m sorry to say that this was incredibly boring, which normally isn’t even that big of an issue for me, but unfortunately the writing wasn’t doing this many favours either (which is obviously more so on the translator than the author), so i really did not have a good time with it, despite it being less than 100 pages.
