This was a very cute book about a girl who likes to get fully engaged in all activities along with her crew of animals.

Be sure you look behind the dust jacket!

This would be good to pair with This Is My Dollhouse.

WHY CAN'T I GO BACK AND TIME AND GIVE THIS BOOK TO CHILD-ME?!

The story is cute, but the main reason I want to send this book back in time is because in the edition I've seen on the backside of the dust jacket is a dollhouse, which includes a Lola and her Bear that you can cut out. Do you know how much I would've loved that? Two of my favourite things were (*cough* are) paper dolls and layouts of houses. Sigh. Actually the official site has a PDF of all the characters for you to cut-out. I just downloaded it because why not!

Lola was a bit too much for me. One of her wonderful projects a day would be plenty for anyone. Bear, crane, pig, and gator were very patient with her.

Is it bad that I don't think Lola Dutch is too much at all? I hope my little turns out just like her - because I see a lot of myself in Lola! :-p Breakfast? Must be an AFFAIR. The library? A launchpad for PROJECTS. Art! Blanket forts! We need it ALL!!!

This one was cute. Recommended by a BookTuber I enjoy so I thought it would be worth getting and I don't regret it at all! I'll be working on getting any other book in this series that I find. I can't wait for my nephews and niece to read it. :)
