So good! Takes the first book (which I only somewhat enjoyed), pumps up the stakes and delivers!!
I love everything about how the story develops.
The ending was phenomenal!! It was build up so well, just to crash everything down, I was already imagining on how the next book could develop, but no. It really messed with me and it actually kept me up thinking "how could this even continue??" But looking back, it couldn't have developed any other way. It's just that good.

In a weird way I kind of hate every single character in this book, they’re all basically awful in some way or another.
BUT
I’m still enjoying the series, Darrow’s story isn’t hugely captivating and is basically high octane huge stakes revenge porn, but I’m here for it. Will finish the 3rd part of the core trilogy then have a break though, too much of a good thing etc.
