This can be a bit of a challenging read in the sense that it takes your entire focus but the journey is well worth it. It’s heart wrenching and intense.

Fantastic continuation of Darrow and his journey to take down the Golds. For a second book in a trilogy, Golden Son does not slow down; more action, more personal conflict and many more big reveals

got a little lost in the sauce during the middle portion when all the planning was happening (and i mainly just skimmed through it), but once again, the ending had me FLABBERGASTED. crazy plot twists and had my jaw on the floor again.

It was different from the first book in a way, that instead of a hunger-games/battle royale like competition/school story, it went on with the bigger world events.
but besides that it was more the same in the style of story telling.
