A solid conclusion to a really solid fantasy series. It's overall fairly satisfying. I'm sure there'll be people with criticism but I feel overall most are generally happy with it and I can agree to that.

WOW
This is the masterpiece that joins together the two previous books. Everything is explained, every little detail from the previous books plays an important role in this one. It must have taken so much effort to write such a good books and make all the pieces join together.
It takes a bit to start and grip you but once it does, you won't stop reading.

I'm not going to leave an in-depth review yet, because I have friends reading the trilogy and don't want to spoil them.

What I WILL say is that Mistborn is now my favorite series that I have ever read, and only the third book to make me weep openly while reading it. It is beautiful and painful and resonates in a way most authors would sacrifice limbs, small animals or firstborn children to achieve.

Read this series. Don't read the jackets. The jackets--especially of the first book (Mistborn: The Final Empire)--sell the Mistborn series woefully short and in no way do it justice.

Just pick up the book. And read it. You will laugh. You will cheer. You will weep gross, ugly tears over the lives of fictional characters. You will despair. You will rejoice. And you will be amazed by the intricate, beautiful world Sanderson has crafted.
