I can't resist Jillian Dodd's high school drama! She does it SO WELL! London Prep Book Two was filled with more of what she does best- witty angsty drama filled with fashionable girls and gorgeous guys. I enjoyed getting to know Mallory and the boys better and of course there was a bit more of the love triangle with a fantastic will-she-or-won't-she cliffhanger! Such fun! Cannot wait for the next book in the series!

This is the 2nd book in the London prep series. I discovered this book by happenstance and I was pleasantly surprised how fast and quirky the read was.
The 2nd book takes off where the first book ended so if you haven't read first book then there will be spoilers.
Our heroine is torn between the two handsome English boys, with one she is so sure she loves and the other makes everything intense.
The second books takes on the journey with how her relationship deepens with other characters and the self discovery also. There is a persisitent question she thinks— is she ready to go all the way with her boyfriend? Will she finally let go and what will happen with the other guy?
The questions I hope will be answered in the 3rd book.
This is a sweet drama filled teenage drama book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about it!

why do none of these characters outside of Noah and Mohammad have any depth, and even then they barely have substance to their characters... I get it's YA, but c'mon man lol

This book took the story to a new level! The characters connections are continuing to grow and draw you into their world. Noah breaks my heart while making you root for him. These are fun loving characters dealing with the reality of love and life in high school. I am in love and cannot wait for that final book.

This was a snooze fest. The second half of the first book led me to believe the writing, the plot, and the character development would get better and I was sadly mistaken. This whole book could’ve been summed up in one chapter but for some reason was dragged on forever. Needless to say I will not be reading anymore of these books. I also don’t think I can stand to read anymore of this author’s writing as it is repetitive and juvenile, and I’m pretty sure my sister has brought home better essays from middle school.

No really.

Someone needs to tell me how this ends.

Oh wait.

I’ll just keep devouring these books in a day instead.

Yes. Yes, I did pick this up. BECAUSE I HAVE A SIDE. And we all know, in a love triangle scenario if our side doesn’t win it usually ruins the series for us. Time will tell if that’s the case for me here. I’m really hoping it isn’t because I will be devastated.

I do struggle a touch with the age of these characters and imagine them in my mind 19/20 rather than 16. The underage drinking/partying/etc. is a lot at times. I really am watching some teen reality show play out in front of me. It’s addicting. I can’t stop reading.

But I kinda love it for those exact reasons too. They’re some books that feel totally different and immersive from my usual preferences of romance/genre that really sink their claws into me. I love that I can’t put these down and want to know what happens next. I love the quick pace and back and forth characters. The angst and drama. It’s all here folks.

Overall audience notes:
- New adult contemporary romance
- Language: some strong throughout
- Romance: kisses / make-outs; a moderately detailed love scene
- Content warnings: underage drinking
