I read a lot of reviews that were negative about this book but I loved it. I’ve just finished reading a heavy book series so this is exactly what I needed to keep me out of a slump. It kept me smiling from start to finish. Can’t wait to read more of this series

I think I can sum up my whole review into one sentence: This book was not for me.

If I’m being honest, I kind of don’t understand the hype with this one. Rowan was the literal worst. But Idk, maybe it’s just me, but when someone is that toxic and that much of a jerk (to put it nicely😆), I’m going to distance myself immediately and avoid them at all costs.

This is where Zahra comes in. Rowan is her boss and while he’s also the literal worst boss, it was hard to buy the way Zahra talked to him. I’m all for standing up for yourself but also keeping it respectful. I feel like her actions wouldn’t have gone over well in real life. But I also understand it’s for the plot, and that’s why I think this book just wasn’t for me.

I settled on giving this 3 stars for 2 reasons: I finished it and there were a few cute moments (absolutely loved Zahra’s younger sister Ani) that made me smile.

I LOVE THIS BOOK. It might end up being my favorite book of all time. I just happy thing about it, you could say. It gives you grumpy x sunshine, i hate everyone with you, protective, posseiv. Zahra's whole mood, enegry and vibe is to die for. When you read you can't stop your self for smiling. She is so wholesome if that is correct to say?  I dont know how to explain it. I just love her. The way she acts like a child sometimes, AWWWWWWWWW. I also cant get over how moody Rowan is. It hillarous sometimes. THe spsicy parts of the book lived to my exception after what i heard about it before reading. (this review makes no sense). This book offered me everything, EVERYTHING. Some sad moments, many many funny, cute, and quricky momments, and some unexpected scens that i loved, it gave carring and procetiv Rowan.
This copy of the book incluedes the extende eupolg.
