I hated Rowan so much. He doesn’t treat employees as people. Zahra apologies when her family mentions that they can’t afford vacations because of him which made me really dislike her judgement. Him changing was solely for the selfish desire to have Zahra, not for actual growth. Did not like this one.

I really liked this one! It was emotional, but funny. Sweet and steamy. I loved the back and forth with Zahra and Rowan, they had chemistry for daaaaays. Zahra had such a big heart! I loved the theme park and the support cast too. Definitely going to read the next two books in the series.

Honestly not bad at all. Lowkey binged it but I think I was only a half fan of Rowan so it’s a 3.75 instead of 4. Also idk what Zara’s race is supposed to be they just call her dark and curvy and at one point “spoke in a foreign language” I wish they picked any place or leaned into it a tad more—she just seemed like a white person in the end all things considered.

this story started off slow but the disability representation really sealed the deal for me! it was well done, didn’t milk it just to further the plot, and invoked the conversation around theme parks and the various accessibility issues surrounding them.

i thought rowan and zahra got together a little too early in the story, but of course he was going to have to grovel by the end 😂😂 i’ve heard they only get better so on to terms and conditions!

Behold - a slow-burn grumpy/sunshine (emphasis on the grumpy) romance, wrapped in a modern-day Beauty and the Beast package, set at a magical theme park called Dreamland! This one is for all the Disney adults out there who like their books spicy!
