🇬🇧: Damn this book broke me. I was totally invested in the story and I finnished it in no-time. I was also totally invested in love stories and I was irritated at Rowans actions sometimes. I even cried during this book.. it is so easily written that you don't notice that you already read a lot of pages! I can't wait to start in part two

This was just an okay read for me. The Dreamland series is centered on the Kane brothers who are heirs to the Dreamland (think Disney empire) legacy. The Fine print focuses on Rowan, a bonafide grumpy billionaire with a chip on his shoulder. While working to fulfill the terms that will secure his future he’s thrust into Zahra’s orbit. Zahra a sunshine-y creative who Rowan eventually falls for. There’s a lot going on here as far as how Rowan treats Zahra, but the third act break up really solidified my general dislike of the MMC. I was definitely entertained, but overall just didn’t connect with the characters.

This book is basically about one of Walt Disney’s grandsons trying to earn his inheritance. He is a grumpy who has to be a sunshine if he wants his shares in the company. He just so happens to meet a girl who embodies the sun. Would have given it more stars if physical/sexual attraction was not as prevalent in the writing.

This was a very cute grumpy/sunshine romance book perfect for anyone who loves Dreamland *cough* Disney *cough* and a little spice. (3/5 spiciness) I'll definitely be reading the rest of the series.

Awful. How did this go viral?

👎🏻. Nope.  Please do not read this!!!!

I only finished because of a buddy read. I didn’t want to let down my friend.

It is really poorly written for a published book. A mountain of m cliches and tropes are used and rolled out. The sex scenes aren’t engaging or appealing. The possessiveness is ick. And the dialogue is a dumping ground for neat statements. As if the characters romance has given the angry MMC the cliff notes of if he’d used  professional psychotherapy to understand his feelings fears and needs.

The love story is cute but I think my favorite part is Ani’s character and how she was portrayed (aka how she wasn’t just referred to as a girl with autism but instead a fully fledged person… how it should always be but isn’t always the case). I also loved how much Rowan showed his emotions because masculinity doesn’t equal being a robot.

The book was overall a good romance, and the diversity was great to see, however in my opinion, the book was suddenly ruined when
the epilogue showed that Zahra was pregnant.
Another disappointing part of the book was
how quick Rowan seemed to overcome his mental struggles in the end, as it seemed to just resolve instead of show that he was working on himself and improving instead of Zahra constantly forcing him to overcome his issues.</spoilers>
