I would say it would be one of my favorites however I feel like
Spoiler they shouldn’t have been together. I was mad that Zahra took him back after the whole hospital scene( which really pissed me off cause he treated her like a burden in which I was like wtf is wrong with you she’s laying in a hospital bed where she almost died , and bestie is all like oh if she died in my bathroom that would suck/ be a lot of paper work. Bro really made me mad there like fr) miss girl put so much trust in him like he had her heart and soul wrapped around his fingers and he squished her heart like a grape. My trust issues are far more extreme I would have left him to get hit by a car and not care by that point.

4,5 stars because Rowan really stressed me out like two times. I liked Zahra and didn’t find her annoying like I have other Lauren Asher heroines😬. I loved all the Pride and Prejudice Easter eggs including one hand scene which I’m sure was DEFINITELY mimic Matthew Macfadyen’s hand scene. OH AND MATTHEW MACFADYEN WAS MENTIONED BY NAME!!! HOW COOL FOR HIM!!

There was a nice diversity overall in this book from a main character who’s Hispanic and Armenian to her sister who happened to have Down syndrome and to Rowan (the hero)’s brother Cal who had ADHD! Very cool!

Also I freaking loved the fact that the brothers were named after King Arthur’s knights, I’m so jealous.

there are so many reasons why i love this book so much

so reason no. 1 is because the characters are so loveable, i never connected and related to a character like Zahra so much. I feel like i’m the one in the story and i’m able to put myself in the actual situation they’re in. from the little habits to the major ones, they’re spot on

reason no.2 THE MFING TROPES. most  AND ALMOST ALL THE TROPES I ABSOLUTELY ADORE is in the book like i just cant handle it

reason no3 the romance is so freaking good i swear

reason no4 THE BANTER..

reason no5 THE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT and how this book deals with trauma

reason no6 inclusivity and how well the author discussed the struggles of disabled people. and this book doesn’t just INCLUDE disabled people for the sake of diversity (i can’t explain it well so pls just read it)
