I enjoyed the correlation with Disneyland. The relationships between the characters especially the grandfather was all kinds of mayhem. The male main character at times was a real jerk. I didn’t appreciate his potty mouth.
It took me on a trip so I gave it a 4⭐️

4.5 stars!! This was quite lovely. I love Zahra's character so much and was really invested in her personal journey. I also loved being along for the ride for Rowan's growth. The only part of this story I didn't like were the repeated cliches. I think Rowan needs to put sunscreen on his nether regions for all the heat that goes there as a direct result from Zahra's gaze. That got old to read fast (and so many romances use that phrase). Not a fan of the cliches but, other than those, this was quite enjoyable and I can't wait to read about the other Kane brothers.

if youre a disney adult then you would most likely enjoy this type of romance. this is my first billionare romance and i dont think i am a particularly a fan. they fight all the time and the story gets bland at times. sometimes the story get stagnant.

This book wowed me at first, then started to disappoint me, then brought it all back. I did unfortunately have to deduct a couple of points for that little bit of disappointment, but overall a great read.
Rowan in my opinion is a lot of what I look for in a hero. He is closed off just enough, but willing to only open up to the girl he is falling for. And he's a little dominant in bed. However, I found that some of the time he was being unnecessarily aggressive out of nowhere, and that was what I didn't really appreciate.
I also liked Zahra, however I did find her almost a little too quirky at times and too perfect. I like my female characters to have flaws too, and Zahra didn't really have any. However, I did find her stupid at some points and it made me roll my eyes.
I also overall found the book very predictable, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. I guessed a lot of the stuff that happened later in the book at the very beginning. However, I'm the type of person that likes seeing my theories come true, so it wasn't exactly a negative for me.
I will also say that I stan Martha and I can't wait for the next book cause I'm already in love with the couple from the few interactions they had in this book.

“I don’t know. Are you always this much of an asshole?” One second he’s scowling at me and the next his lips are slamming into mine. Wait, what?!
My fists ball up by my sides. I look around the hall before ripping the rest of the numbers. I tuck them into the pocket of my trousers before I have a chance to berate myself for something this ridiculous.
“Are you sure you’re twenty-three years old?” I tease.
“I wanted to say that although you might be considered a good businessman, you’ve done it at the expense of being a terrible, verbally abusive father. And one day you’re going to look back on your life and regret the way you treated your children, and I hope it hurts you as much as you hurt them. So fuck you and fuck off.”
