FMC sets out to kidnap the Duke who is about to evict her family but accidentally abducts the wrong man, and the MMC is very happy to be stranded with her. Because she doesn’t know how to eat without getting crumbs all over her décolletage. LOL.

Very cute and steamy. The novella is only ~70 pages so it was pretty instalove and edging over the line of cheesy. I do find it hard to read Scottish dialogue, so that pulled me out of the story at times, but overall an enjoyable read.

This was a quick & fun novella in the Midnight in Scotland series - definitely worth a read!

I don't know what more you could want from a historical novella tbh. Instalust: he's obsessed with her body. Horny widow who doesn't know she's horny until him. Bonkers plot: she abducted the wrong dude. And then he decides you know what? She's mine now I'm keeping her. Excellent. Can't wait until book 4 of this series as it's my favourite Scottish hr series.
