those fight scenes :0 I'll have to say gojo's eyes are obviously better animated and lose their bewitching effect in the manga but this was a nice volume. it's good to see we're finally getting some backstory on gojo although it does feel a bit rushed. one problem i realized with the story is that personally, the deaths don't resonate due to a lack of emotional depth established between them and the reader. usually when there's a serious arc, the author seems to introduce a random character and then kill them off at the end of the arc. the deaths fall flat because they work as plot devices to develop the surviving characters which diminishes any emotional impact we have towards the perished ones.
