OMDaiss the suspense is killing me. I've been tracking this book release since last year and it still isn't here. I check the website all the time but I'm still waiting. It's torture.

There's just so much progress in everyone's relationships. I can't wait until the next book!

Before: Yay yay yay!! I know I will devour this in a day lol but I can't wait!!
06/21/17 After: yep I knew it, one day lol. I'm not sure how I feel about this one right now. I'm giving it 3.5 stars but that may go up after my millionth reread.
It felt really fast but also slow like some of the others. I'm very surprised she only kept Carol & Jimmy for one book. I expected it to drag out for a couple. But I'm guessing Jimmy will be back again.
Loved loved loved seeing more of Dr Sean & Mr Blackbourne. Especially seeing them lose their cool and getting emotional.
Gah I can't believe I have to wait again now lol.
03/12/18: Forgot to bring a book to work (don't you hate that??) so I decided to reread this last one in the series to see if I like it better the 2nd time. And I'm not ready to reread the entire series (again) right now.
After: Definitely better. Bumped up to 4 stars. It still confuses me thatCarol & Jimmy left so easily. But maybe they'll be back in the next book still? And I had forgotten that it was the stepmom that actually got them out. I got shivers when she was at the door. Ugghhh...so evil. She's like Dolores Umbridge evil! :D

At first I was unsure about the alternating perspectives, but I ended up really liking it, because there were things that we needed to know that Sang wouldn't see or know. Based on the preview of the next book it looks like Stone might continue this in the next book and at this point in the story I really think we need to get the others' perspectives as well as Sang's.

I don't know if I'm getting too old for this series, but all the constant drama about the same things are starting to get a bit irritating. Yes, Sang is a ghostbird, yes it will be bad if she loses that status... But can we move on and not make that the main drama anymore?
How everything turned out at the end of the book is promising for the next book, so it was not so bad in the end. The story is progressing really slowly, but that might just be personal taste. Will still read the next one to see where the story goes though.

Ok so these books have been going downhill for me. After 11 books I was kind of hoping Sang wouldn’t stress me out so much. I understand being an introvert. I’m also an introvert. I’ve never been abused in any way so I can never understand that but and I do think she is more social.. at least with the guys. But she just worries about every single little thing. Even when the guys have told her multiple times that they care.. she just stresses me out with all of her worrying. Also irk why this is just occurring to me... 9 guys.. right now she’s 16 and it’s just kisses but uh later on if they all get married... 9 guys! Just sayin.

O understand now why this book took longer to write than expected, even though it's not longer the story and the characters have so much depth. The messages and patella drawn between carol and mrs green was amazing, Sean and mr blackbourne character development was phenomenal.
