Absinthe - CL Matthews
5 scorching hot stars!!! I love MC books a lot…but they need to be raw, gritty and dirty or they don’t hold my attention. In my opinion, 1%’s are supposed to be brutal and barely this side of civilized. I found just what I was looking for in Absinthe – unfortunately it was just a snippet and not nearly enough to satisfy my need for more of the Cape Hill Vipers. I enjoyed being introducted to Absinthe (Venom) and Deaftone and cannot wait to get more of them and the Vipers in their full length novels that are scheduled to be released next year. That cliffy is going to KILL ME!!!
Ms. Matthews also starts to give us the backstory on Dante, Xo and Sy from Firsts in this book. I love that her stories are connected; which in the end means I get to see more of the characters I am dying to learn more about. If you like true to life brutality of the MC world in your books, look no further. The Cape Hill Vipers have just what you’ve been looking for.
