Well now you have done it Ms. Bellus. You proved that I cannot only read a book about university (I always feel like a grandmother spying), but I now can’t get the song Baby Blue out of my head. I fell asleep, once I finished the book at 4:30 humming the song and thinking about Tuck. I woke up humming the song and thinking about Blue.
Blue is a Young Adult (New Adult) romance with drama on steroids. Even better, every situation is believable. I had so many emotions while reading I was left drained but satisfied.

You have no excuse for not reading this book

PERIOD. Must read it.

A love story that puts beauty and the beast to shame. Trials to a relationship can be difficult but when people get in their own way it can be impossible.
Blue wants to focus on school and cheering. She is determined to enjoy be a little fish in a big pond. Everything changes when she sees Tuck for the first time. The brooding, gorgeous man hiding behind his friends captivated her from the first look.
With issues that has him keeping everyone away, Tuck fights Blue all the way.
Will he give in or force her to give up? How many times will he push her away? Can they get past his insecurities?

I loved it. It has some gut wrenching situations but the end is sooooooo worth it.

Before starting this book I accidently read a bad review so I went in thinking I wouldn't like this book. And while there were a few things that I didn't particularly like there was a lot that I really loved. Overall it was a cute book and I wish there was a little more to the end rather than abrupt ending I felt it got.

P.S. I won a copy of the book from the author.

So I read this because Patty made me. No really.. she texted me and told me I HAD to read it. So I did.

Now where to start...

Blue isn't your typical perfect cheerleader. She's an only child with awesome parents (seriously her dad is the greatest. he cracks me up). She moves from Colorado to California to be a cheerleader... which I am going to ignore and pretend thats not a thing.

so she moves to Preston College and rooms with another freshmen cheerleader, Sophie. And Blue realizes that Sophie is perfect because Blue. aka Miss Perfect, wants to fade into the shadows and just get along in college. UHHHHH WHAT? COLLEGE IS YOUR TIME TO SHINE AND BE AMAZEBALLS. whatever. WOOO-SAHHH

Moving on...

Blue meets Tuck. Tuck ignores Blue. And then pays attention to her. And then ignores her. Rinse and repeat.

SO MANY TIMES. I dont get this weakness from this character. She is strong and confident with every other situation and is the exact opposite of her.

I wont ruin the book. It was good the characters were different and interesting, and the story was something different. I never say that i wish a story was 2 books, but i wish this one was. it seemed like it was a speedy ending... and not really too much detail when you WANTED details.

Loved Blue. This is a modern day Beauty and the Breast which I love. Pulled me in from the beginning and made sure that i held on to the end. It was not the ending I expected by any means but it was still an amazing book from page 1. It was dark, sexy, addicting and the chemistry between Blue and Tuck was amazing. Another amazing book by Ms. Bellus

So many people kept saying, and even the synopsis says, this is a modern day Beauty and the Beast. That being my favourite of all Disney tales, I was on board and got this the instant it came out. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Yes, there is a girl who is considered beautiful, and a boy who is ‘beastly’ due to his appearance. But that’s literally the only thing you can say is beauty and the beast. It’s not like a retelling like I imagined, but more like when a movie comes out and someone writes a Fan Fiction using those characters but not following the same type of story line in the slightest.

I will say, the only reason I continued to read past the first few chapters was once Tuck made an appearance and I became obsessed with knowing his story. I hated Blue. I found her slightly vain and got sick very quickly of her slut shaming and her obsession with a guy who wanted nothing to really do with her in the beginning.

I’m all for those types of love stories where the guys a twat and pulls through, but I can’t stand when it also brings out the whiney, needy girl. Somehow I felt like Blue had never been rejected before, which was probably the case, and found it like some kind of mission to change his mind? If I heard about how beautiful she was one more time I probably would have stabbed someone.

I also think the ending was just some super high dramatic bullshit that totally wasn’t needed at all. Where did that even come from? Everything was somehow realistic in terms of shit that goes on college, but that ending? It was so left of field, that I ended up pissed off once finishing.I spent all those hours for that to happen? What. Don’t even.

I don’t recommend this book to be honest and I never do that, I don’t like to read books I don’t like hence most of my posts being over 2.5 stars atleast. But in the end, the only things going for this book was the cover and some little happy moments throughout the book.

This was just meh. I just didn't like Blue or Tuck and I felt next to zero chemistry between them. I didn't hate it; I finished it, although I considered dnf'ing it near the 80% mark.

The ending was super rushed and felt unresolved and the plot dragged. Also the twist thing in the epilogue annoyed me, like it was trying to force me to feel something when I had felt nothing the entire story. I think I would rather have read the relationship between Blue's best friend and her boyfriend - because I actually really enjoyed both of their characters.
