Jessie has seen her share of trauma in her life. She has been on her own since she was 16, she is an extremely talented hacker and went to work for the Russian mafia putting her talents to good use. When she happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time she comes face to face with the Ryan brothers, the heads of the Irish mafia.
When she bargains her talents for her life she has two weeks to show the brothers, Shane,Conor, Liam and Mikey just how talented she is.
What she doesn’t bargain for is falling for these brothers and finally finding her place since she was 16, or does she?

Love these boys! I am team Conor all the way, Shane is the biggest asshole for 90% of his book, but he’s a close second to Conor. Jessie is one of the strongest MFCs I have read in a long time. Can’t wait for book 2

If I had to sum this series up in 3 words? Absolutely fiercely wonderful! I’ve read all 5, some of them I’ve read multiple times, some I have, errr… read multiple passages multiple times - well it’s damned good smut and heartbreak and love and stuff. The violence is a little hard in places and there are serious triggers throughout this book, including rape and kidnap and torture and a whole lot more so please be careful going into this series.

BUT - I adore this series - Liam and Mikey Ryan the twins… Connor the middle brother and the big brother, the father figure is Shane - then we have Jessie Ryan… (called angel by Connor - sigh). It’s a reverse harem, it’s smutty and it is Irish Mafia in New York, so if any of that turns you off, don’t start the series. I enjoyed the intrigue through it, I enjoyed the working of the relationships around all four of the brothers with Jessie, I liked her resolve, I liked her grit and determination. I fell in love with all the brothers, I liked all of them, which is more than can be said for many a book boyfriend.

The writing is top notch, the smut and sex scenes in it are top notch, and sometimes very very damned spicy as hell! But sometimes a girl needs a little spice right?

Was pretty good. Felt like I finished it quickly. Cliffhangers suck but the series is finished so I didn’t have to wait for the next book.

It was interesting, but I kept getting Den of Vipers vibes from this book(I did not like that book).
However, I was interested enough to buy the remainder of the series and the novellas.

there was like no relationship buildup. it was glossed over and got right to sex. it felt like the characters might have had chemistry but not really. I totally felt like I was reading a horrible rip off of Den of Vipers

I was baffled by the excessive use of exclamation marks. Not a whole amount of plot or character development, but I’ll be reading the next book regardless
