fun! really fun, really easy to read. my least favorite of the three, though. this one is quieter, and the pacing stumbles in the middle.

This book was hard for me to read because my grandmother passed away recently. Even so, I really enjoyed this book.

Ahh! So much going on in this one book.
But even though I found myself frustrated with the many jumps, I thoroughly enjoyed this last book of the series. I thought it tied up the previous two novels nicely. It was great finding out the backstory behind the matriarch of the Young family (Su Yi).

There’s some underlying tones of racism, misogyny, colourism and Zionism in this authors writing and I do not think I can pick up another book by him but I did enjoy this series due to the plot and word building.

I enjoyed this book, but I didn’t find it to be phenomenal. The first book is still my favorite, though I have to say I enjoyed this one much more than the second book. It just feels like too much is shoved into these books. There are so many people I have a hard time keeping everyone straight. This was an enjoyable read but I’m glad to be done with the series.
