Having read Alice Feeney before, the twist was a bit obvious to me early on. However, this is still a very interesting mystery! I enjoy Alice Feeney and look forward to reading more of her work.

This was stressful as hell (tw: infertility and miscarriage, sexual assault) but I enjoyed it too. Told from the POV of a woman in a coma, it flips back and forth in time to the days leading up to a car accident and a traumatic event (think SWF) when she and her best friend were young.

I can't wait for the next one. I think it especially helps that Stephanie Racine reads her audiobooks.

This one was just okay for me. Some of the twists didn’t really make sense. Or they just felt like twists for the sake of being twists. I think it got a bit confusing trying to follow the storyline and characters.

Look, this book isn't necessarily bad but I expected more from it and I understand ✨nothing✨ from the ending. Just wrap up the book without leaving questions because I hate it when authors do that. So if that also isn't for you, skip this book.
