First of all, I'm a big Lee Thomas fan. If you haven't read him, you need to do it now!

This novel was a great read! It's dark, it's intense, and it packs a powerful punch. If you're a fan of supernatural horror and noir, then this is the book for you. I loved Denny "The Bull" Doyle. He's not your typical antihero. Sure, he's tough as hell, but he's complicated. He's not your ordinary goodfella.

The book starts off like a punch to the nose and doesn't let up. Once you start, you don't want to put it down, and at about 160 pages you could finish this in one or two sittings. The intensity builds until a fantastic and climactic ending.

But it's not all bloody knuckles and bullets, the romantic touch is something else Lee Thomas writes so eloquently. Love is something that Denny has missed out on for most of his life, and Thomas captures the conflict and heartache Denny suffers so well that it broke my heart.

Lee Thomas is a true master of his craft. Read this book! You will not be disappointed.
