I don't remember the last time I read this book, I know it was about ten years ago... I enjoyed it just as much as I did then.
The flaw of the story is that the author seems to have taken such an anti-Semitic and anti-Israel stance, that it simply bursts from the pages of this story.
It's interesting how much I didn't notice when I first read it.

I always get the best recommendations from a wonderful librarian I know. This book, and The Templar Legacy before it, are amazing. Why Cotton Malone isn't more popular than Jason Bourne is beyond me. He is certainly a better warrior, and he is a better puzzle solver than Robert Langdon of The DaVinci Code fame. This is a good thing, because these puzzles are much harder!

I love the history and setting woven into these books. I also admire a good twist and this book has plenty.

Worth the read, and one more that I will remember.

Re-reading this series, I'm still in love with the way the author spins out these stories. Love the take on different parts of history, makes it so much fun to read. Though the political part of it was a drag at times, the rest of the book made up for it.

This second Cotton Malone book was even better than the first. It's still got plenty of history, but it doesn't lecture as much. And the modern-day conspiracy plot line is compelling. I'll definitely be looking for the next book with this character.

A fun, fast paced read. Great action and a really intriguing storyline about the Library of Alexandria. I was glad to see the return of so many characters from the first novel, and expect to see more of them in the rest of the series. This story sucked me in, and kept me reading up to the end.

This was an enjoyable outing in the Malone series. As expected, there were many different threads seeming to head in different directions, only to tie firmly together in the end. There's a bit of a deus ex machina with Heinrich, which wasn't as strong as I hoped - relevant, but not strong. Looking forward to the next installment.

I enjoyed listening to the first Cotton Malone book, The Templar Legacy, and anticipated another good "listen" in the 2nd of the series. However, this book is read by Scott Brick who varies the volume of his voice from shouting to whispering, which makes for a miserable listening experience for me. Did not finish.
