This hooked me in immediately and I didn’t stop until I finished it. I haven’t read a book let alone a mafia romance that I’ve been so invested in and that I’ve read so quickly in so long so I was glad I picked this up. The story was a bit repetitive and could’ve been shortened but I really didn’t mind. The story was just addictive and fast paced and I cant really ask for anything more. I loved the fmc and thought the plot was interesting and something I’ve never seen before. This was just a great addictive read and I can’t wait to read the next one.
Quick, easy read. A nice brain break, but very surface level mafia romance read for me. First time it started out as “surrogate (using traditional) ends up wife” so that caught my attention on the FB ad
I paused because there was something else I was really excited to read, and then the contrast of that excitement to how I felt about coming back to this book, then seeing the second book of this story and figuring out how much drama could potentially happen with the rest of this book and a whole other book… I couldn’t face it. Maybe I’ll try again?
