What just happened? The writing suddenly skyrocketed in quality.
You can’t trust others. All you can trust is the work of your own hands.

Riordan has redeemed himself with this addition to the series. The plot is gripping, and the characters are all extremely likable.
Don’t judge someone until you’ve stood at his forge and worked with his hammer.

My favorite bits are easily the meetings with Pan and Hephaestus. The labyrinth is such an intriguing concept, and Rick Riordan made sure to utilize it effectively. Going from 1.6 stars on average to a sudden 4 stars for me is a remarkable feat. I thoroughly enjoyed the book as it did not have any boring moments. Was a breeze to get through.

Much better then books 2 and 3. I'm excited to see how this series ends. The author's chapter names are always good, but this book's specifically made me laugh. Chapter names like:
"I scoop poop" & "Nico buys happy meals for the dead." 😂

Oh, and the ship drama! Hoping all gets resolved in the next final book.
(Because if the author makes this relationship span the course of all his series...series's? {I dunno how say it}
that'll be just awful )😆
