I was recommended this by a friend and it was a really great, quick read about how the main character Melinda goes through her freshman year of high school after she was assaulted. Her art teacher is great comic relief and while it is a bit heavy in some places, it gives you hope for the future. It is not broken up by headers in the marking periods of the school year and not typical chapters.
