3 ⭐️ this felt very “classic murder mystery” Giving it a 3 because while I didn’t hate it, I can’t say that it’s going to stick with me longer than a day or so.

I appreciate Christie’s mysteries and twists, but this book really highlighted how bad her character development is. I really had to force myself to finish this one.

Usually give Christie novels a higher rating but this one didn’t hit home. Setting was quaint, as usual, but the characters felt flat to me. Love story was very unbelievable. Supernatural and magical elements thrown in felt forced. Redeemed a little with the twist, hence the 3 star rating.
