This book definitely gave me a few WTF moments. It started a bit slow, so I wasn't really expecting much, and then it hit me. They weren't kidding about hooking you in. Didn't creep me out, though. You need more than that. It DID weird me out a lot. Kept me entertained for the day.

I got creeped out within the first forty pages and thought that I maybe wouldn’t be able to finish the book but I kept reading a hit further and got hooked. The plot and format of the book held my attention and made me want to keep reading even at parts that creeped me out.

i loved this book until the last section. the plot and characters had me hooked but the big reveal at the end felt forced and unnecessarily complicated. i liked the initial concept a lot but it devolved into something that seemed like it was obviously trying to be something more than it was. if the story had stayed true to the more basic plot it would've been 4 stars at least.

Added a .5 for the audiobook cast. It was an absolute slog to get through, and if I had been reading instead of listening it almost certainly would have been a DNF.

Felt like reading an R/NoSleep series with a title like I’m an Editor for a Ghost Hunting Show - You Won’t Believe The Footage I Just Got.
