April graphic novel book club selection.

Short-and-sweet GN YA. April is Arab American Heritage month and Huda F Are You? is an excellent example of how Arab American Youth who follow the Muslim religion struggle with microaggressions, racism, self-identity, and socially fitting in. Huda (the author) showcases these struggles in a witty and relatable to young readers fashion, very accessible and relatable to anyone growing up despite what religion or culture they follow.

i had a good time with this one! it was humorous while also tackling the coming-of-age aspect of "who am i?" that i still continue to face in my twenties. i'd definitely recommend and can't wait to read the next installment.
