I enjoyed her postal format, her minute characterization, and the way each character bends events through retelling, leaving the reader to untangle subtext like yet another cold plate of spaghetti.

Nella versione che ho ascoltato, questo libro era letto da Nanni Moretti e l’ho trovato perfetto per il rapporto epistolare leggermente recriminatorio tra la madre e l’unico figlio maschio. Sembrava, anzi, un film di Nanni Moretti, tagliente, pieno di dettagli e con una serie di sospesi condotti fino alla fine.
